Looking back, 2013 was a roller coaster year for so many of us. Superstition would blame triskaidekaphobia for the low points, but really in any year life doesn't run straight and clean. Instead it's all tangled up: unexpected delights beside unanticipated detours, dark days amidst bright beginnings, sadness tempered by love.
This year I am especially grateful to you, friends and readers, who joined me on new journeys and had an encouraging word at just the right time. Much love to each of you.
Here's to our next colorful, unpredictable year.
